Phil Coulson you are fucking 50 years old.

Stop. Being. Nervous.

He let out a deep breath as he straightened his suit, checking his tie one last time before buttoning up the black vest underneath the jacket. Why should he be nervous? He’s done this whole wedding thing before, there’s nothing to it. But standing in his room he watched himself in the mirror and kept repeating to himself over and over again, “you’re going to be okay Coulson, this is fine, it’s a good thing. You want this. Don’t over think it.”

Finishing up with his suit, he went to the bathroom and combed his hair, what little he had of it, putting hairspray and any other hair product that might keep it in place. Standing for a moment, Phil looked himself over in the mirror. “You’ve got this Coulson, just a few words and it will be over.”

Tony paced the length of the hallway outside of Jan’s room. After being, very rudely might he add, kicked out of her room, he was told to stay close so if Jan needed to talk to him about anything, he would be there. He wasn’t her damn maid of honor, so why was he being treated like one? ….Wait. He hoped he wasn’t her maid of honor. That’d just be weird.

“JAN! How long are you going to be getting changed for?” He called out, grinning when he heard her yell back at him and the thump of a shoe against the wooden door. “Prissy.” He muttered and pulled out his phone, flicking an app and bringing his palm over the device, raising it to bring forth a holographic projection of his latest invention. Might as well get some work done as he waited, right?

Steve asked to see Phil before everything started. He was invited here by him, after all and he wanted to speak with him before it got underway. He was led to the room Coulson was in and Steve waited outside for a moment. He didn’t want to bother him but at the same time, he figured he could use a talk. So, he stood outside the door and tapped it with his knuckles. “Sir? It’s Steve. …Rogers. I just wanted to make sure that you’re okay. Someone said you looked a little pale.” He said. “I wanted to let you know that I’m here and I’m very happy for you, sir. If you need me, I’ll be outside here on this bench until it’s almost time to start. Just in case.”

Steve didn’t know if he needed anyone to talk to at all, he was always so calm and collected, he probably didn’t need him but he figured he’d be here anyways. So, Steve sat down on the little wooden bench. He figured he’d wait here until five minutes before things started.

Rhodey made his way to the mansion, his mind turning over the fact that Jan was getting married. He chuckled and shook his head to himself as he arrived and parked, making his way inside. He greeted the AI and walked in the direction of Jan’s room, seeing Tony standing beside the door and playing around with his phone, or working most likely. He clapped Tony on the shoulder, “Hey man.” he said by way of greeting. “So you the bridesmaid?” he said with with a grin.
