Monica’s eyes narrowed over at him at his amused grin. Try as he might have to hide it, the glint was heavy in his brown eyes and maybe even a little contagious. She cleared her own throat and shrugged lightly.

“Sure, you can if you want to. Though I’m sure he’ll already know it’s attached one way or another. Never been the type to bite my tongue and he knows that.”

She looked down once more at her watch and scoffed. “I know I’m not going to make it back to Brooklyn in time.” She paused a second, momentarily lost in thought before her eyes traveled back up to his.

“Actually while you’re at it, do you mind pointing me in the direction of your nearest grocery? Not one of those high-end-seven-dollars-for-three-bananas type of stores either.”

“It’s good though, that you don’t.” He tempered the small grin, though it still tugged at the corner of his lips. “He needs more people like that around him. Two people is really not enough.”

Jim snorted softly at the idea of going to an overpriced grocery store as he started to dig through his bag for a large piece of paper, “There’s a few of those around here, the place I go to when I’m here isn’t too far off and there’s this good small bakery right next door if you want somethin’ sweet.”

He’s writing down the address, a small map leading from the tower to the grocery store before he hesitates on writing his number on the sheet. “Not that you would get lost, but just in case this place is closed, I can tell you of another one.” He put the pen away and handed Monica the paper as he hitched his bag back up and checked the time, “I’ve definitely missed that filght.” he muttered quietly. “So yeah, I’ll let Tony know, let me know if you find the place alright or if you need another one. They’ve got pretty good things and are easy on the wallet.”
